I put one of these together. You are right can't be used as a clock. But, it was fun to put together.
Why is there not a demonstration of how and where to wax the parts?

Even if you power it with a synchronous motor it will not work because for every 60 minutes the hours hand moves 4 hours. You can't even use it for a time reminder because there's many combinations of minutes and hours it won't make...
Does it really need to be waxed to work well?

Well, it looks pretty and it’s fun to make. It kills time and they’re really enjoyable to assemble (at least imo.) It’s a nice little thing to put on your shelf or desk, etc
@@topmalk I bought ugears glower/ballerina, and a counter (0-999). These at least have some function lol

Get the robotime pendulum clock instead, similar plywood design but much better executed, got one myself and it's wonderful!
I assume this little clock does not run as in work?

Hello, Read the notice again. Maybe you will understand why it's hard to turn. I tell that because I watch all your video, but a not see you rub on a candle some piece of this clock. But for have two of this Kits ( not the clock) without that it's hard to turn for one of them...

У вас ошибки в сборке. На 5.09 ещё не установлена деталь 23-24-25, а на 5.12 они установлены. А самой установки этих деталей нет.И с 5.12 уже устанавливает деталь 28.

that depends on how you look at it. I think it's astheatically pleasing and me, not having really build anything for a goof few years deem it to be great to get into this hobby of mine. I just was gifted this set and I'm honestly hyped about building it hehe

Half are one way and others are another. Not consistent. 7, 8, 9, are fine but that makes 10, backwards, 1, 2, 3, are fine but again makes the 4 upside down. Actually 4-9 read from one angle while 10-3 read from another ang,e. They figured it looked better to read the numbers upright. Idk but it is interesting to point out. Thanks
It's super fragile though, managed to breqk some parts while trying to assemble it, thus failed to put it together.
Try using wood glue it's stronger than normal glue
Woodglut is full of amazing tips. It helped me a lot.
